Since 2018 in Manoppello (Pescara) we keep bees as a passion, with a very small number of colonies so we can look after each one as well as we possibly can.

Stationary hives
We never move our bees. They live in one place all year and adapt to it. Around us, many fields are left wild or in crop rotation — perfect forage for the bees.
One single harvest
We harvest honey once a year. We give up a few prized single-flower honeys, but the jar holds every bloom of the season in our small production area.

One harvest a year means each jar holds the whole season: the wild blooms of untilled fields, aromatic herbs, and the fruit trees of our countryside.
It is the exact photograph of one specific place — ours — and it changes slightly every year, as the land around the hives changes.

Manoppello, between the Majella and the Pescara hills
Our hives sit in Contrada Cupa, in the countryside of Manoppello at the foot of the Majella massif. Many fields here are left wild or in rotation — a varied, spontaneous bloom all season long.
The bees live in the same spot all year, adapting to its climate and plants: that's what ties their honey so closely to this corner of Abruzzo.
